I really loved this! So much truth here! I loved how you shared so much history! We need to be hearing more of this! I loved this: "If they had discerned their Selah, their Tactical Pause, they would have understood: This burden was never theirs to carry. Our assignment is faithfulness in the field. The government was never on our shoulders." So many churches have fallen prey to the "government will save the world" lie! I've seen it all around where I live. My brother-in-law (a pastor) refused to give over to that and he lost so many people. But, they needed to go. He was going to preach the Gospel truth and that truth is the one who is in charge sovereignly over it all is God. I truly appreciated this teaching. This should be shared everywhere!
